Samsung Planning for 560ppi Amoled Display For 2014

inShaAccording to reports from OLED.at, Samsung is working on AMOLED displays with 560ppi for screens as small as five inches. Potentially next year’s handsets from the company could offer higher resolutions and more pixels per inch that what is currently available.

If this report is correct then we could see resolutions at 2560 x 1440. Although no specific model has been linked with this news, it would be a great selling point for the Galaxy S5, which is rumoured to be launched early in 2014.
So why the hype? Well to put it into perspective, the current 5-inch Samsung Galaxy S4 flagship handset has AMOLED but only 441ppi with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The iPhone 5S has an LCD display, with 326ppi and 640 x 1136 pixels.
If Samsung do indeed release a handset with 556ppi, it would have 230 more pixels per inch than Apple’s current offering.
Of course the average user is unlikely to see the additional pixels in each inch of the screen but this could be a powerful marketing tool for Samsung.

Chaos in Lagos, Nigeria.

                                                     

Trouble started when a trailer crushed four pupils on their way to school.It is not known for sure how many children have been killed, different resources provide different information: some claim 3 children lives, some 4, and some even 5.The sad incident happened close to Ikota Primary School and the dead pupils are believed to be making their way to the school when they were killed.Angry protesters insisted that they weren't going to leave until the governor of lagos state Fashola shows up.

50 People Die In Plane Crash.

 
Fifty people died after a Boeing 737 carrying 44 passengers and 6 crew members crashed while attempting to land at the international airport of Kazan, the capital of the republic of Tatarstan, 500 miles east of Moscow in Russia...Among the dead was Irek Minnikhanov, a son of the president of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, according to the official passenger list. Grandmother busted for selling cocaine....

An 80 years old grandmother was arrested in Rome, Italy after allegedly selling cocaine through the window of her home.....The grandma goes by the nickname 'nonna-pusher'....She was apprehended by an undercover policeman whom she sold some cocaine to...The granny drug-pusher won't be charged due to her age and the level of disability she is suffering from.
